The Skin of Our Teeth
by Thornton Wilder
Davis Theatre, Kleinpell Fine Arts Building
7:30 pm showtime (all dates)
Thornton Wilder's 1942 play is an allegory about the history of mankind told through the story of one family, the Antrobuses, who lived through a new ice age, a great flood, and a devastating war. Combining farce, burlesque, satire, and elements of the comic strip, its overall theme is the precariousness of survival – people repeatedly pulling through catastrophes by ''the skin of our teeth.''
