About UWRF Marketplace

  • UW-River Falls Marketplace is a centralized e-commerce site for departments and offices of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls to deliver goods and services.
  • Each store within  UW-River Falls Marketplace is maintained by a representative of that respective department or office.
  • UW-River Falls Marketplace products and services are created or provided by UW-River Falls staff and students.
  • Campus retail apparel and student supplies are provided separately at the campus bookstore (Falcon Shop) website.

General Shipping Policy

  • Perishable food items must be shipped using perishable shipping options (this shipping will automatically be provided to the customer).  
  • Shipping options may be limited.  The shipping price of a product is presented to the customer prior to the completion of the transaction and is included in the total price before the customer accepts the transaction.
  • Product are shipped by UW-River Falls postal services office using FedEx, UPS, or the US Postal Service, based on the shipping cost associated with the item the customer ordered.
  • A day range  for the expected arrival of the product will be provided within the description of the product or at the close of the transaction.  
  • UW-River Falls does not voluntarily provide customers with shipping or tracking for outbound products. UW-River Falls will provide a shipping status to the customer in the event of delays or shipping anomalies.  Customers may request a shipping status if the product has not arrived within the expected day range.

Order confirmation

  • Upon submission of an order, the customer will receive an order confirmation delivered to the e-mail address that was provided.
  • The order confirmation may include, but is not limited to: customer's name, billing address, e-mail address, and phone number;  items ordered, quantity,  subtotal, taxes, total cost, and other personal information supplied.
  • The order confirmation DOES NOT include the customer's credit card account information.

Perishable Food Shipping

  • Perishable food items must be shipped using perishable shipping options (this shipping will automatically be provided to the customer).

Return and Refund Policy

  • Perishable food items cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Non-perishable items may returned subject to the return and refund policy described in the product description. 

Order Cancellations

  • Order cancellations for UW-River Falls products vary depending on campus vendor and product. See product description for order cancellation information.
  • Event cancellations that are eligible for a refund are subjected to a handling fee. A $25.00 processing fee will be assessed for customer initiated cancellations where the total amount is $200.00 or more. Other charges may apply.

Privacy Statement

  • Credit card information, including name of card holder, account number, expiration date, and pin number are not accessible by UW-River Falls staff members.
  • Credit card information is only submitted to the credit card processor, authorize.net, via a secure internet connection.
  • UW-River Falls staff members will obtain submitted information to fulfill an order or register for a service as submitted through shopify.com.  This information submitted by the customer may include, but is not limited to: customer's name, address, e-mail address, and phone number;  items ordered, quantity, and other personal information supplied to accurately fulfill the order.
  • The acquired information will be used solely for fulfilling the transaction and will not be sold, or used for any other purpose, or shared for other functions.
